Triggering your off-camera flashes is an expensive hassle.
If you're just starting out, it doesn't make sense to buy an advanced
Pocket Wizards system (costing you over $500) when you barely need any
of the functions.
Small, simple, reliable, and affordable - Scott Robert Lim's new Tiny
Triggers will make it extremely easy and extremely affordable to work
with multiple-flash lighting setups.

That's a screenshot of a
PhotoWhoa.com daily deal. It seems good enough - three receivers and a trigger for slightly less than it costs to buy one Pocket Wizard. But those triggers look mighty familiar...in fact, I've written about them before. I own them. But the ones I own are sold by Cowboy Studio and Cheaplights. And, upon checking amazon, I see that the total for 3 receivers and a transmitter is a whopping $44.99. Wow. That's a hundred bucks difference! So, buy
this instead, and if you're determined to give away that extra $100, I'll send you my paypal.
Thank you for posting this - Since you posted, they actually DROPPED the price, and I was out the door for 28 bucks. pocket wizard has been on my list, but I think I'm just going to put my faith in this.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I could help. I know I'd feel pretty bummed if I had done the PhotoWhoa deal and found the cheap ones on Amazon afterwards.

ReplyDeleteHi this is Kevin from PhotoWhoa. Thanks for alerting us about this. We had no idea this product was already sold at a cheaper price marketed as Cowboy Studio. On all products we offer a 100% refund guarantee for anyone who is unhappy with their purchase.
